In response to inquiries about the following scenarios: Having additional Business After Hours Inviting the entire membership to an Open House or Special Event Members who want to have a special promotion annually Members who want to list their event on our Calendar Events page And other requests. We are pleased to offer to our membership at the following marketing package. Please know, that the Chamber staff may or may not be in attendance of the event due to multitude of events produced by the organization. If there is a ground breaking or ribbon cutting request (which is free of charge) along with the marketed event, the host must coordinate that first with the Chamber due to schedules.

      1. Member/Host Receives: 1) 3 Monday Blasts displaying graphic of event within the Waco Chamber Weekly newsletter (rate of open) to a distribution of 2,600 plus emails per blast. 10,500 plus total email accounts. 2) Turn-Key printing, mailing and postage of the postcard of the event, 4,500 postcards printed and mailed 3) If the event includes a ribbon cutting, ground breaking and/or grand opening type celebration that warrants ambassadors being notified, membership will extend the notification to the Chamber’s Board Directors and Board of Advisors by e-mail communication. 4) Event graphic and listing will be added to the Chamber’s Exclusive “CALENDAR OF EVENTS” website page. 5) Member event will be added and listed to the Chamber’s Facebook page (2,786 likes and counting) and Facebook Group Members Only Page (161 members and counting and Twitter account (6,000 following and counting) for exposure and marketing.
    • Obligations

      1. Member/Host must agree provide the following: 1) JPEG COMPLETED graphic at 72 dpi. Size is 340 pixels wide x 200 pixels high. 2) Graphic for postcard with printing specs: 6” W x 4” H, with a ¼” bleed (no crop marks), 300 dpi plus 3) Event cannot be labeled as a Business After Hours 3 weeks in advance before the event by Thursday, for the Chamber to start marketing the event in the Monday Chamber Weekly newsletter blast. At this lead time, postcards typically are received via mail 2 weeks prior to event.
      2. The Greater Waco Chamber has the right to limit the quantity on this item to prevent member fatigue from additional events. Once the quantity is sold out, then it is no longer available. The sponsorship is designed with the idea of 1 per month. However, host should be aware that there may be some overlap. This will help in coordinating with other Chamber events and from having multiple similar events within a short time frame. The Greater Waco Chamber does NOT BUILD graphics and cannot edit graphics received due to resources and capacity. However, we are happy to provide a list of members who can. This will be an additional charge above and beyond 41 the sponsorship cost. Member will work directly with their chosen designer. Chamber recommends the member to contact a designer 90 day in advance of supplying artwork to the Greater Waco Chamber. If the artwork arrives late, the Chamber will not change the benefits offered or refund dollars for the sponsorship. The Greater Waco Chamber is not responsible with assisting with any hosting duties, photography, welcoming, providing nametags, taking registrations, contacting media or any additional duties. The Sponsor is responsible for any food, beverages and promotional items offered to the guests.
