GWAA Scholarship Sponsorships

Annually, the Greater Waco Aerospace Alliance awards scholarships to outstanding students in Region 12 pursuing a degree in aviation/aerospace or a related engineering program from Texas State Technical College –Waco, Baylor University, McLennan Community College or University Center Waco. Priority considerationwill be given to students of veterans and active military personnel as well as students planning to remain inthe Greater Waco area following graduation. The recipients complete a rigorous application and interviewprocess and are ultimately selected by the GWAA scholarship committee. This scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the requirements and are selected by the GWAA scholarship committee (invitation to participate on scholarship committee). These funds will be disbursed in the same manner the other awards are given (1/2 funds the fall semester, 1/2 funds the following spring semester). Scholarships $2,500 and above will be recognized as “Sponsor Name” scholarship.
