Waco Young Professionals

The Waco Young Professionals (Waco YPs) are leading the future development of this great city. As an organization, we are actively impacting the growth and prosperity of our community through our efforts in talent attraction and retention, young leader-focused development and engagement, and overall image building for the city. Because of these cornerstone initiatives, we believe this organization both is and will continue to be a communal voice for the millennial workforce generation and that we will not only aid the development of this community but lead it.The Waco YPs host over 40 standalone events each year. We provide monthly luncheons, industry tours and social networking opportunities as well as quarterly service events and new member drives to attract interest from new young professionals in the Greater Waco area. We also provide a number of leadership opportunities. We have three non-voting seats on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and we’ve sent previous members across the country with Chamber leadership to engage in events like CEOs for Cities and the Chamber’s own Inner-City Visit. Our leadership structure consists of over 20 positions within five major committees and a leadership team of eight individuals The Waco YPs host over 40 standalone events each year.
