State of the Nation Luncheon

This event gives the Chamber business leadership the opportunity to hear from federal officials on issues of importance to Central Texas. This annual luncheon will feature key federal legislator(s) and leaders addressing the Chamber membership and community with updates on policies affecting the economic prosperity of Greater Waco. In 2016, this luncheon featured a panel discussion with U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, U.S. Representative Bill Flores, and Senior Vice-President of Political Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Rob Engstrom. 2018 featured U.S. Representative Bill Flores, with a special “Spirit of Enterprise” presentation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. When possible, a pre-event meet and greet exclusively for sponsors will be held, pending speakers availability.
