Total Resource Campaign Conference

CAMPAIGN HISTORY In 2005, the Greater Waco Chamber launched its first Total Resource Development Campaign with a goal of raising $250,000 with the help of volunteers from member companies working to raise funds by selling the Chamber’s products – program, event and publication sponsorships, economic development, budge-reduction trade items, upgraded memberships, selected membership renewals and new members. We more than exceeded our goal with a grand total of $499,061! Below is a historical review of the TRC. The purpose of the Total Resource Campaign is to finance new and existing programs of the Greater Waco Chamber. The Chamber’s mission is to advance Greater Waco as a center of excellence and the community of choice for business. The Chamber promotes economic development and quality of life in the Greater Waco area, ensuring that the special place that attracted businesses here will continue to be a magnet for the businesses and jobs of the future. The campaign is a success due to the hard work of volunteers promoting the Chamber and encouraging their businesses and contacts to be more involved in our organization. It is a win/win for the volunteer and chamber member. The campaign is both fun and rewarding, with prizes and cash rewards for the volunteers at weekly reporting parties. Top producers can earn a grand-prize conference. In October 2018, 64 leaders, top producers and guests, traveled together and enjoyed a conference in Akumal Riviera Maya. Although this conference is primarily a reward, we do have an evening group dinner to discuss and plan the upcoming annual Total Resource Campaign
