LEAD Program

The LEAD program is a business and education partnership that pairs students from local high schools with business leaders in order to foster mentoring relationships that educate and expose students to a variety of business fields. By increasing their awareness of higher education and potential career paths, students expand their horizons, develop individual goals and improve their employment prospects, empowering them to achieve a lifetime of success. In addition to exploring higher education and career opportunities, the students learn essential personal and soft skills including resume writing, interview techniques, communication styles and more. LEAD strives to motivate students to graduate high school and pursue higher education which, in turn, ensures greater employability and an increased quality of life. Many LEAD students are first generation high school graduates. Their success impacts them personally, while also changing the trajectory of their families for years to come.
