Industry Appreciation

Biannually the Waco Chamber takes the opportunity to appreciate an industry in Waco and the hard-working men and women that make up its workforce. An industry is chosen based on its impact on the continued success and development of Greater Waco. Prior events have included the healthcare industry, real estate professionals, manufacturing, K-12 educators, and aerospace. This year we are taking the opportunity to appreciate the General Construction Industry. Greater Waco has seen rapid growth over the last few years, and those in general construction are the backbone of the development. During the third week in September, the Waco Chamber will recognize the dedicated, hard-working men and women instrumental to the development of our economy’s infrastructure. Join us as we thank those who are building greater Waco! We will partner with Centex Association of General Contractors (Centex AGC) to hand out thank you bags to construction workers on active jobs sites across greater Waco. There will be a partnering social media campaign to promote active job sites across Waco, highlighting some of our local construction workforce.
